While the legacy design was functional, the customer wanted a speaker that could produce more powerful sound, incorporate weather resistance, and still remain visually consistent with the rest of the product family.
Steiner Enterprises built on its prior design of the standard speaker to engineer a premium version that offered increased volume, improved sound quality and greater durability. A high-output driver was added to increase acoustic performance, and the housing was modified to maintain sound quality despite the higher volume. Sealing gaskets and weather-resistant hardware were incorporated to allow outdoor use in rugged environments — without compromising the clean, modern aesthetic shared by the full product family.
